In educational infrastructure the new wing of the Mathematical Gymnasium and the Gymnasium of Romance Languages won, with second place for the extension of the Alen Mak kindergarten in Sarafovo. Added to these were the new cycle path towards Kraymorie, a residential block for medical staff in the Izgrev complex and two first places for refurbished buildings in energy efficiency.

The growth lies outside the summer months: in January 2026 more than 780,000 visitors came, in January 2019 there were 555,000. The share of seaside tourism in total demand fell from 70 to below 50 per cent. The share of charter flights in European traffic dropped from 68 per cent in 2019 to 27 per cent, because guests now assemble flight and accommodation themselves. Draganov describes Poland as a market with ground to make up, as it once sent 750,000 to 760,000 guests a year.

Before departure the route deserves two questions: does it include a border with a non-Schengen state, and is there an alternative crossing for it. The return leg is checked at the same time, because a queue works in both directions.
