What is the tax number of a Bulgarian company?

It is the EIK, the unified identification code from the commercial register. Bulgaria keeps no second tax number alongside it; the National Revenue Agency works with the same figure. Anyone who does not form a company but practises a liberal profession receives an EIK from the BULSTAT register, within seven days of starting the activity. Natural persons additionally carry a personal code: Bulgarians the EGN, foreigners with a residence right the LNCh; it identifies the person, not the business.
