How much will wages rise around Burgas in 2027?

Employers in Bulgaria expect salaries to rise by 5 per cent in 2027. According to the TRS Bulgaria 2026 remuneration survey by Marsh Bulgaria, salaries rose by an average of 6 per cent in 2026, while increases in Western Europe stand at around 3 per cent. In the Burgas area salaries are 13 per cent below the market average, in Sofia 5 per cent above it. They rose most in manufacturing, by 8.1 per cent, and in transport, by 7.8 per cent. For owners who let a flat or run it through an EOOD, this means that cleaning, property management and tradespeople become more expensive with every pay round, but remain cheaper on the coast than in Sofia. Anyone setting up a business with staff on the coast should budget for an increase of around 5 per cent in 2027, not for the 2026 level.
