What is healthcare like — for EU and non-EU citizens?
Burgas is the southern coast's medical hub with a university hospital and private clinics; each location page shows the hospital and practices nearby. EU citizens use the European Health Insurance Card for emergencies, and residents can join the state fund (NZOK). Non-EU citizens need private health insurance for their residence permit.
