How full are Burgas district beds in August?

The statistics institute NSI reports a bed occupancy of 65.9 per cent in Burgas district for August 2026. Nationally it stands at 56.5 per cent, and in four- and five-star establishments across the country at 72.0 per cent. The district's 1,057 accommodation establishments earned 190.9 million € from overnight stays; that is 49.6 per cent of the national 384.5 million €. Compared with August 2025, overnight stays in the country fell by 2.0 per cent and arrivals by 0.8 per cent, while revenue rose by 13.3 per cent. For buyers this means that fewer guests arrive nationwide, yet revenue still grows. Anyone buying a flat as a holiday let is best advised to align fit-out and management with the upper segment, where occupancy is highest. Note that the figures cover the month of August only.
