When is the best time to buy property?

Coastal prices move with the seasons: in high summer, demand and sellers' expectations peak. In our experience the best time to buy is the first and the last quarter of the calendar year — the market is calmer, owners are more open to negotiation, and notary and administrative appointments are easier to schedule. Just as important: try to see your chosen place in every season before you commit — especially if you plan to live in Bulgaria year-round.
