Do Turkish citizens need a visa — and can it work without travelling?
Yes, Turkish citizens need a visa for Bulgaria; the Bulgarian embassy in Ankara and the consulate general in Istanbul are in charge. For the property purchase itself, entry is not mandatory: buying and selling can be handled by notarised power of attorney. Proximity is an advantage anyway — from the Turkish border at Malko Tarnovo the south coast is a short drive away.
