What is a PUP (detailed development plan) and when do I need it?
The PUP (detailed development plan) determines what may be built on a plot — use, density, height, utilities. Before any land purchase or development idea, the current PUP of the municipality must be consulted; the Burgas municipal council, for example, publishes its resolutions. The check is always specific to the property and municipality — Svetlana obtains the information with an architect and lawyer on site.
