There is already a well on the plot. What then?

For existing wells that are not yet registered there is a catch-up procedure using form РГ2. The deadline runs to 28 November 2039; it was extended by an amendment in December 2025. That deadline does not apply to a newly drilled well, where the three-month rule stands. As a buyer, ask for the registration certificate before the notary appointment and settle in the contract who handles a missing registration.
