Does the BIA project change anything for buyers?

The Bulgarian Investment Agency (BIA) has launched a project worth 3.58 million €, funded by the EU under the programme “Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises”. The focus is on Northern Bulgaria, including visits to twelve municipalities. By 2027 the project aims to reach more than 400 potential investors, organise 22 events, hold 25 one-to-one meetings with executives and introduce five new services for investors. For buyers on the southern coast this means: the funding targets business investment in the north and changes neither prices nor purchase procedures in the short term. Note that the announced socio-economic regional profiles help only if they also cover the Burgas region. In that case, sellers' claims about the local economy and infrastructure can be checked against them. Source: AHK Bulgarien.
