Gas price in November: what does it mean for owners?

The energy regulator KEVR has set the natural gas price for November at 58.43 € per megawatt hour, excluding access and transmission fees, excise duty and VAT. That is 32.52 per cent more than in October. Bulgargaz had applied for 59.08 €. KEVR demanded a reduction and the supplier drew additional volumes from the Chiren storage facility. Without that measure the price would have risen by 39.37 per cent. For owners of gas-heated properties this means: anyone letting through the winter should budget heating costs at the November price, with fees, excise duty and VAT on top. Note that on household prices for electricity and district heating from 1 January 2027 the KEVR chairman said the regulator has the means to prevent an increase. Source: KEVR.
