What is healthcare like in Burgas?
The region's largest hospital is the state-run UMBAL Burgas, with its own emergency department. There are also two large private university hospitals — Deva Maria in the Vetren district and Burgasmed in Meden Rudnik. The EU-wide emergency number 112 works around the clock in Bulgaria too.
