Road I-9 towards Pomorie: how long is it closed?

From 6 November 2026, 9:00, the municipality of Burgas is partly closing the carriageway of road I-9 towards Pomorie. The temporary traffic arrangement applies until 18 December 2026, more than 40 days. The reason is the construction of a road link that gives the Sarafovo district a second entrance and exit. The municipality names no detour; it asks drivers to follow the temporary traffic organisation. For buyers and owners this means: anyone planning viewings in Sarafovo or along the route to Pomorie in December should allow extra travel time. Note that the closure is temporary.
